Innovation drives new technologies, and technology empowers development | Yancoal Black Panther participates in the 2025 China Guizhou International Energy Industry Expo and Trade Fair
On May 18, 2025, against the backdrop of a new energy revolution driven by the “dual carbon” goals, the 2025 China Guizhou International Energy Industry Expo and Trade Fair grandly opened at the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Themed “Innovation Leads, Empowering the Exploitation of Rich Minerals,” this year’s expo showcased cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the global energy sector, attracting over 2,000 renowned domestic and international companies. Among them, Yancoal Black Panther’s independently developed explosion-proof three-track locomotive system, with its revolutionary technological innovation, became a focal point of the exhibition.
Inside the exhibition hall, the Yancoal Black Panther booth was bustling with activity. Zhang Jungong, General Manager of Anjialing Energy Co., Ltd. in Jingtai County, Gansu Province, and his technical team conducted an in-depth inspection. He stated, “This system ushers in a new era in coal mine auxiliary transportation. Its composite design transcends the limitations of traditional transportation equipment, intelligently adapts to the characteristics of low roadways, and its 25° extreme gradeability is a milestone in the industry.” On-site technicians explained that the system utilizes seamless “two-site, three-track” technology to enable seamless transportation from the surface yard to the underground working face, improving efficiency by over 60% compared to traditional methods and saving medium-sized mines over 10 million yuan in operating costs annually.
At a seminar held by the Guizhou Coal Design and Research Institute, experts noted that this equipment successfully addresses long-standing industry bottlenecks, such as the inefficiency of endless rope winches and the high cost of monorail crane systems. In particular, its adaptive continuous auxiliary transport system, which enables seamless transport across two locations (surface and underground) and three tracks without requiring vehicle changes or reloading, and its multiple safety features have reduced the transport accident rate by over 90%, fully demonstrating the safety development philosophy of prioritizing people and life.
At the Energy Expo, General Manager Zhang Jungong stated that the fruitful results of this year’s exhibition confirm the scientific assertion that “innovation is the primary driving force for development.” Companies like Yancoal Black Panther are implementing the new development philosophy through technological innovation. They are driving high-quality development in the traditional energy industry through intelligent equipment upgrades, injecting strong momentum into the construction of a modern energy industry system. Reportedly, on the first day of the expo, over 20 companies reached technical cooperation agreements, with the intended transaction volume exceeding 200 million yuan, vividly demonstrating the surging vitality of China’s energy technology self-reliance and self-improvement.
